I believe that engaging with ideas is at the heart of what it means to be human. For me, it is incredibly fulfilling to deeply explore the things others have discovered before me, to dream of what might be possible, to determine what is truly meaningful, and to figure out how I want to go about my life in light of those things. Though this has been incredibly fulfilling for me, there is often something missing from this journey: people with whom to go on the journey.

Glimpses of what this exploration of ideas together looks like have been the most joyful moments of my life. That feeling you get when you mention an idea you’ve been playing with for days, months, or years, and you see another person’s face light up. The realization that you have independently gone down the same rabbit hole, explored the same intellectual terrain, and come to a place of shared understanding is truly magical.

The joy of going on this human journey with others is why I am creating ThoughtX. I want to build something that makes it possible for people to more easily explore ideas together and realize they are not alone on this journey. I want to engineer a platform that truly brings people together in a meaningful way, fostering a community where ideas are exchanged, conversations are deepened, and connections are forged.
